THE BACKGROUND
Conflict is structural before it is personal.
Organisational dysfunction has a signature: the structure failed before the person did. By the time leadership notices, the fracture point has already shifted the load elsewhere.

I spent twenty-five years at the family Bar, in rooms where systems built for one purpose were carrying conflict they were never designed to hold, and people fractured where the load concentrated. I learned to read where pressure gathers before it surfaces, and to see what the people absorbing it are actually carrying.
Â
A Master's in International Politics gave me a second lens: the architecture of incentive and power that governs what people inside an institution can and cannot do, whatever their intentions. Structure carries the load. Behaviour is what breaks when it fails.

At Fearon Advisory I apply both disciplines to organisations under pressure. When a manager layer is absorbing more than it was built to hold, the presenting symptoms are rarely the diagnosis; they are the evidence. My method is to go to the structure: find the fracture point, assess its reach across the manager layer, and return recommendations that are specific, sequenced, and built to hold.

My conflict resolution work draws on the same years. Resolving disputes at the family Bar means finding the real seat of a conflict beneath its stated terms, and moving parties toward resolution without anyone having to concede the narrative. Those skills transfer directly to corporate conflict that is costing money and consuming leadership attention that belongs elsewhere.

Few people come to this work having built the method at the family Bar, trained in institutional power, and spent a career in the rooms where structural failure has personal consequences. That combination is rare, and it is what I bring to your organisation. The application is precise.

WHY STRUCTURE, NOT WELLNESS
Burnout and conflict are not personal failures. They are load-bearing failures.

The dominant response treats the individual as the fault: resilience training, wellbeing apps, another survey. You do not fix a structural fault with a wellness programme any more than you fix a cracked arch by telling the stone to be more resilient. The manager layer is where the weight of the organisation converges: targets pressing down, escalation pushing up, unresolved conflict arriving from every side. When there is no structural relief, that layer fractures. Predictably. By design.

I diagnose where the load concentrates and redesign the structure so it holds.

You survey the building every year. Nobody inspects the stone where the pressures meet.
